Bio

Philip Rowe brings over 30 years of athletic administration and coaching experience to the Endicott Athletic Department. Rowe has served as the head coach at the University of New Hampshire (1999-05), Keene State (1996-99), Plymouth State (1985-90), and New England College (1978-84), and has been an assistant at George Washington University (2005-06), Boston University (1990-92), and St. Anselm College (1984-85).

Rowe most recently held the title of Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs for Athletics at Daniel Webster College, where he was responsible for the oversight and direction of the Eagles' intercollegiate athletic teams, along with the intramural and club sport programs. He was also Daniel Webster's Athletic Director from 1993-96.

Rowe has a history of transforming basketball programs, as he did at NEC, Plymouth State and Keene State. Rowe helped lead the Pilgrims to three NAIA appearances after taking over a one-win team to start his tenure. At Plymouth State, Rowe turned the Panthers from a last place team into a nationally ranked and co-champion squad in the Little East. He continued his success in the Little East Conference as the Head Coach at Keene State, posting back-to-back 20 win seasons with the Owls.

His coaching success was solidified with a 27-3 season and the sixth-overall national ranking at George Washington University as an assistant coach. Rowe developed the Colonials recruiting plan, budget expenditures, travel arrangements and coordinated all aspects of practice, game preparation and scouting. GWU captured the Atlantic-10 Championship and advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Division I Tournament during Rowe's one season with the Colonials.
