Bio

Morgan DeShaw enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Endicott women’s lacrosse team after a standout four-year career that saw her collect three IWLCA All-Region awards, three All-CCC First Team honors, and a CCC Player of the Year award.

DeShaw, who graduated in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, ended her career as Endicott’s second all-time leader in points (279), goals (207), and assists (72).  She finished first in game-winning goals (16) and free position goals (78).  The Gulls went 57-23 (37-1 CCC) with four CCC Championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances since her freshman season. 

In June of 2011, DeShaw coached at the Nike Blue Dog Lacrosse Camp where she helped to improve overall skill and understanding of the game with constructive feedback and advice. 

DeShaw will also take on administrative responsibilities in the Endicott Athletic Department office where she was be asked to assist in variety of roles including the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, NCAA grants, and officiating amongst other things.  She completed an internship at Gordon College where she assisted the Director of Athletics with budget analysis and the Marketing Director with sponsor relations.  DeShaw was integral in launching and sustaining Gordon’s Kids Club which focused on providing added benefits to young fans of Fighting Scots athletics. 

DeShaw also completed an internship with the Boston Breakers Women’s Professional Soccer Team in 2009 where she managed the organization’s database for fan recruitment and retention purposes.
