PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The No. 6 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Johnson & Wales, 4-0, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Friday night at Lynch Arena.
Maggie Holt (Cumberland Foreside, Maine) got the scoring started for the Gulls with 12 seconds remaining in the first period. The goal followed Cammi Ahern (Oswego, N.Y.) picking up a loose puck in the corner and swinging it to Abbey Agrodnia (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) at the point. Agrodnia then fed Holt who blasted home her second goal of the season.
Endicott pushed their advantage to 3-0 with both Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) and Ella Rago (Westford, Mass.) found the back of the net. Hall put the Gulls up two at the 4:56 mark as she slotted home a free puck right out the crease for her fourth goal of the season. Rago then turned defense into offense as she blocked a Wildcat shot and went the length of the ice, beating the goalie with a top shelf finish.
Gracyn Kurrle (Middlesex, Vt.) finished the scoring in the road victory with a back-post finish off a feed from Maddie DiNardo (Topsfield, Mass.).
In goal, Lauren Ferrari (Bridgewater, N.J.) made 16 saves in her first shutout victory of the season as her record improves to 5-1-0 on the season.
